2026 Squid Competition

EAST WALL bays 30 to 60(from 3rd set of steps)
Start time : 18.00 until 10pm finish
Log in/book in by café tables from 17.00
once logged in you may go set up on assigned pegs
As last year if you wish too fish in pairs please tell us when you draw your pegs
ENTRY FEE: £10 for all Adults. price all in covers rod fee (£5)and prize money(£5)
Prize money too be split equally amongst 2 people
1 prize for longest singe squid or cuttle caught
1 prize for combined total catches length
measured from mantle tip to end of tail.
JUNIOR entry £5
separate prize for Junior winners(non cash)tba when I find something suitable 😁
LIGHTING on wall
Head torches and a small light for access too tackle and setting up.
NO underwater lights
2 lights per person please too keep lighting on the wall too a minimum.
RIGS
1 rod per person.
any single 2 hook rig may be used up to a # 4/0 hook.
No treble hooks please.
Max of 2 hooks or jigs per rod.
Jigs may be set singly (egi style) 2 in line or with the use of boom arms providing only 2 are used.
plain/ weighted/ bead(or rattle) luminous jigs may be used but no powered lighting on jigs please.
Prizes will be sorted at the end of competition by the café tables
